Kato Tax Service was started in the year 2000 by Clint and Joan Kind to give
people a place to go to get expert service at an affordable rate.
Clint has been preparing taxes in the Mankato area for over 35 years and has built a reputation for providing his clients with expert service and advice pertaining to tax laws. Clint is the former chairman of the accounting department at Minnesota State University at Mankato. He retired from teaching in 1995. He has been doing tax work since 1963 as owner of Kind Accounting, a partner in two tax firms and an employee of an accounting firm.
Joan is a former bookkeeper for the law firm of Blethen Gage and Krause located in Mankato. She provides support by taking care of a variety of tasks for Kato Tax Service including data entry, bookkeeping, e-filing and more.
